What is FIERCE Fitness? FIERCE Fitness is a DANCE fitness class I created for women to get in their BEST shape, burn ALL the calories, and have FUN doing it; all while learning new moves and building confidence in the movement of their body! It brings together the best of both worlds; a high-cardio workout, and a creative studio dance class. All levels welcome and absolutely no dance experience needed! All you need is YOU, ready to try OWN IT, try something new, and have a FIERCE workout!

The Fitness portion of my website www.SalwaOwens.com is under a revamp to add all sorts of fun videos and new fitness clothing, howevere here is a little sneak peek to the promo video, which will show you more.

CLASS BREAKDOWN:

  • 5 minutes: Warm Up
  • 15 minutes: Dance Fitness Work Out: Dance fitness routines are easy to follow routines that do not get broken down. Instead, instructor will queue you throughout and the choreography repeats itself so that you can easily follow and get to your peak heart rate burn zone.
  • 25 minutes: Choreography: Once we have reached that peak heart rate, we will learn our choreography for the day, broken down by 8 counts, so you can feel like you are learning an actual dance! The dance we learn will vary by class.
  • 10 minutes: Run Choreography: This is the part of the class where we will run our new choreography and you can practice REALLY getting into it (aka. performing)! You are welcome to record during this part of class so you can remember and practice at home.
  • 5 minutes: Cool Down
WHAT TO WEAR: 

Because this class falls during FASHION WEEK, we are having a fabulous theme; dress like a FITNESS COVER GIRL! Keep in mind that you still need to be able to work out in whatever you wear and wear tennis shoes (I do teach a heels dance classes however this one will not be one of those). There will be a photographer there taking some fun captures of our class. Your privacy is respected and should you wish not to be photographed, you won’t.

WHAT TO BRING: 

Please bring water and a small towel. You WILL sweat! If you want to record our choreo, bring your phones (which I think is an obvious for every day life).

COST: 

The class normally costs $40 but I am offering it for 50% off this time. Why? Because this is my first private class to bring to NYC and it falls mid work day, so I REALLY want to give you incentive to come out try it. If you work a 9-5, come and take the best lunch break you will ever have 😉

SPACE: 

Space is limited, so please reserve your spot ASAP! On that same note, please share this with your friends!! The more the merrier, (until we meet the max capacity of the studio that is), and I really appreciate you sharing this class with any of the women in your life you think would benefit and enjoy it!
