4 NOT BASIC HALLOWEEN QUESTIONS WITH MY KIDS

Before I get into any of our not basic questions, let me address the elephant in the room I’m sure you are all wondering about …”what is your child standing in the middle supposed to be?” He is a character my daughter made up called “Wong”. It’s taken a life of it’s own with nightly comic book drawings and now, Thomas is embracing it as his Halloween costume. Izzi is a swat member who wears really intimidating sports shorts, and as is clearly obvious, Jacob is an alien with space ship included!

On to the questions…

You know those random funny conversations you get into with your kids..? Well, we had one on the topic of Halloween recently which ended with some really random questions, some by them, some by me. I wanted to share 4 of them just because I love how their little brains think. If you’re a mom, try asking your kids these questions and have a laugh!

1- [I asked]

IF YOU COULD DRESS ME UP AS ANYTHING FOR HALLOWEEN, WHAT WOULD IT BE: 

THOMAS, 6: One of the Spice girls. (the joke’s on him..been there, done that … I was scary spice senior year in high school and proud of it!)

JACOB, 8: Coffee ..and probably from Starbucks.

IZZI, 11: The girl that’s in your Vogue poster.

2- [Izzi asked]

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF IT’S HALLOWEEN AND KIM KARDASHIAN CAME TO THE DOOR: 

THOMAS, 6: I would say hi…bye ..and then I would run away.

JACOB, 8: I would say hi and I would say, do you want to trick or treat with us. 

IZZI, 11: I would ask her to autograph my water bottle. 

 

3- [JACOB ASKED ….he’s the king of random]

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WENT TRICK OR TREATING AND INSTEAD OF GIVING YOU CANDY, THE PERSON GAVE YOU A PAINTING?

THOMAS, 6: I would say, “you’re weird.”

JACOB, 8: If the painting was good, I would keep it. If it was bad, I would give it back. 

IZZI, 11: I would take it and sell it.

4- [ I ASKED THIS …embarrassingly enough]

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU STARTED POOPING JELLY BEANS ON HALLOWEEN: 

THOMAS, 6: I would stop pooping in the toilet and stick a bag with tape to my butt and give it to my friends and tell them I am magic.

JACOB, 8: I would eat them.

IZZI, 11: I would Start a jelly bean business.
